Couple Saved After Tree Fell On House: Cherokee Fire

CANTON, GA — A couple was saved on Saturday after a tree fell on their house.

Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services responded to a tree on a house early Saturday morning at 3038 Sam Nelson Road.

Several groups of officials arrived and found two people trapped inside. Firefighters were able to remove the couple from the home, which had received considerable damage.

Once the Canton couple was out of the house, they were checked out and did not go to a hospital.
