CPR, First Aid Classes Offered In Cherokee County

CPR/AED classes and CPR/AED & First Aid classes will be offered to the community this spring and summer.

From Cherokee Chamber: As part of the Cherokee County Chamber’s Community Outreach Programs, CPR/AED classes and CPR/AED & First Aid classes will be offered to the community this spring and summer. The classes will be held at the Chamber of Commerce office located at 3605 Marietta Highway, Canton.

In the event of an emergency, your CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and First Aid training could mean the difference between life and death. By properly administering CPR, you can help stabilize someone that is injured or ailing until help arrives.

A representative from Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services will teach the class. Class is limited to nine seats. You must be 14 years of age or older to receive certification.

The cost for the CPR/AED class is $45, which includes the mandatory workbook. Classes will be held Friday, April 27th, Thursday, May 17th, Wednesday, July 18th and Thursday, August 23rd from 9 AM – 12:30 PM
The cost for the CPR/AED & First Aid class is $70, which includes the mandatory workbook and lunch. Those classes will be held Thursday, April 26th, Thursday, June 14th and Thursday, July 19th from 9 AM – 3 PM.
