Creekview Healthcare Sciences Students Serve The Community
Creekview High School students deliver a gift card wreath to Free Home Elementary School.

CANTON-SIXES, GA - From Cherokee County School District: Creekview High School’s health care science students have just the right prescription for the season: showing care for others.
Students in the Career Pathways program have been volunteering at community events including the Celebration of Lights at Northside Hospital Cherokee, and collecting donations to help families in need.
“I am so glad we are reaching out into the community and making a difference,” teacher Laura Bailey said of her students’ service.

Aware of the need of a family at Free Home Elementary School dealing with medical issues, the students collected pharmacy and grocery store gift cards… enough to make a wreath.
Free Home ES School Nurse Sharon Sullivan said the students, who intern in her clinic, have “amazed me every day with their knowledge, compassion, patience, and willingness to help with the children.”

“The kindness of the interns and Ms. Bailey will forever be remembered by all of us,” Ms. Sullivan said. “We look forward to the continued privilege of having the interns partner with us at Free Home Elementary.”
