Delta Community Credit Union Names New Canton Branch Manager

From Delta Community CU: Delta Community Credit Union (www.DeltaCommunityCU.com), Georgia’s largest credit union with more than $5 billion in assets, recently appointed Kelly Copeland to lead its Canton Branch, located inside the Kroger Grocery on Hickory Flat Road.

After working for 10 years at two of the Credit Union’s largest locations (its Cobb County Vinings and Dallas Highway branches) Copeland was promoted to manager of the Canton Branch. Of Delta Community’s more than 360,000 members, about 8,000 call the Canton Branch home. But Copeland says her new location keeps her on her toes. “This branch is busy! We have a steady stream of members throughout the day,” she said.

With a staff of eight, Copeland says her new role as branch manager gives her more involvement in employees’ professional development. While the branch may be smaller, she says the commitment by those who work there is as great as at any Delta Community location. “We are committed to increasing Delta Community’s membership to match Cherokee County’s dynamic growth,” said Copeland. “More important, we will continue connecting in a meaningful way with our existing members, and maintain the close relationship that is already in place with this community.”

As a Kroger location, Delta Community’s Canton Branch is open until 7:00 p.m. during the week and 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays. “Having our hours spread out a little more makes it easier to manage our lobby traffic,” said Copeland.
