Drive-By Flu Shot Clinic Set For Oct. 4

The Cherokee County Health Department and its community partners will be providing the service at its Woodstock office.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- Protect yourself against the flu by taking part in an upcoming drive-by flu shot clinic next week in Woodstock.

The event will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at the Cherokee County Health Department's office in Woodstock.

From 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., motorist will be able to drive up, roll up their sleeves and get the protection they need to combat the virus.

4-in-1 Quadrivalent Flu Shots will be $25 and Fluzone High Dose Flu Shots for people 65 and older will be $58.

Cash, checks, credit cards, Medicare, Medicaid, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Coventry, Humana and United Healthcare insurance plans will be accepted.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends getting a flu shot each year. The health department's Woodstock office is located at 7545 Main Street.
