Canton Police Identify Driver In Single-Vehicle Accident
The driver of a port-a-potty service vehicle crashed the truck down an embankment at the entrance of the Laurel Canyon subdivision.

The Canton Police Department’s Traffic Enforcement Unit continues to investigate a single-vehicle accident that sent a motorist to an Atlanta hospital.

Canton Police Department spokesperson Pacer Cordry said 27-year-old Jason Stone of Douglasville remains in critical condition following the crash, which occurred Wednesday afternoon at the entrance to the Laurel Canyon subdivision.
Cordry said Stone, who was behind the wheel of a port-a-potty service vehicle, was traveling along Laurel Canyon Parkway towards S.R. 140/Reinhardt College Parkway when the truck traveled down an embankment and crashed.

Cordry added the embankment was over 150 feet long. Stone, who was the only person inside the vehicle, was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment.
