Dump Truck Crashes Into Car, Overturns In Canton

CANTON, GA -- Two drivers were transported to an area hospital Wednesday afternoon after a dump truck collided into a passenger vehicle.

The Canton Police Department said the collision was reported on Laurel Canyon Parkway, which is currently shut down. The truck, the agency said, "slid into another vehicle."

The back entrance gate is open to through traffic. Minor injuries were reported in the collision, the police department's Facebook page said.

Laurel Canyon Parkway is the main road to the Laurel Canyon subdivision, which is located along S.R. 140/Reinhardt College Parkway north of Pearidge Road.
