Easter Eggstravaganza Returns To Cherokee County

CANTON, GA -- Get your Easter basket ready because Northside Hospital-Cherokee’s 30th Annual Easter Eggstravaganza will soon bring loads of fun for the entire family to Cherokee County.

The community event will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 19 on the hospital grounds at 201 Hospital Road in Canton.

Once again, this year's festivities will include many exciting activities for everyone, including a petting zoo, moon walks, carnival games, puppet shows and other activities. You will also be able to enjoy hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, music and much more.

The following egg hunts will take place for the community:

• 1:30 p.m. – for children age 0 to 3 years old, and for those who have special needs or require assistance;
• 1:45 p.m. – for children ages 4 to 6;
• 2 p.m. – for children ages 7 to 9; and
• 2:15 p.m. – for children ages 10 years and up.

All activities and food are free, but guests are encouraged to bring diapers, wipes and baby food donations for MUST Ministries' operations in Cherokee County. No glass bottles or jars will be accepted and collection bins will be available on-site.

Photos with the Easter Bunny are $5 for two photos; souvenir T-shirts are $10 each. All proceeds from the event benefit the Special Care Nurseries at Northside Hospital-Cherokee.

In case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled to Sunday, March 20. In case of inclement weather on March 20, the event will be canceled altogether.
