The agency will continue that mission on Saturday as it host Police in the Park, which will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 24 at Brown Park in downtown Canton.
“Our goal with Police in the Park is to give those we serve the opportunity to learn more about the agency, learn our role in the community, open up dialogue to address community concerns for relationship building and allows attendees to observe the equipment officers work with every day as they serve the public,” said Chief Mark Mitchell.
