Family Dog Shot To Death in Canton
The Cherokee County Marshal's Office said the owner heard multiple gunshots and went outside to find the family dog deceased.

CANTON, GA -- The Cherokee County Marshal's Office is investigating a case in which a dog was found fatally shot last week.

The agency reports a person allegedly shot and killed a dog around 4 a.m. Saturday, April 23 at a home in the 400 block of Lewis Road in Canton.
The owner of the dog "heard multiple gun shots outside of their home and soon found their family dog deceased," the agency said.

The Cherokee County Marshal’s Office is asking the public to help them track down the perpetrators responsible for the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Marshal's Office at 678-493-6200.
