Fire Heavily Damages Canton Home
There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
CANTON, GA — A two-story Pearidge Road house suffered significant damage Monday afternoon after a fire, according to the Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services.
Crews responded around 1:45 p.m., where they saw flames and smoke coming from the front of the home, fire officials said.
There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire is still being investigated.

Pearidge Road was closed for an extended period, and deputies from the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office helped with controlling and rerouting traffic.
