Former 'Young and the Restless' Actor Charged With Child Molestation
BREAKING: Corey Sligh was arrested in October in Cherokee County, Georgia, after the victim's parents reported the alleged incident.

CANTON, GA -- A former actor on a long-running daytime soap opera was arrested last month in Georgia on child molestation charges.
Corey Sligh, 29, a former actor on "The Young and the Restless," was booked into the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center Oct. 14 on one count of child molestation, said sheriff's office spokesperson Lt. Jay Baker.
Sligh, who provided a Woodstock mailing address upon his arrest, was released the same day on $22,000 bond, Baker added.

According to the sheriff's office, the victim was younger than 10 years old at the time of the incident and was "known" to Sligh. Baker also said the child's parents reported the incident to officials.
A report released by the agency shows the alleged act was reported to police Sept. 24. Sligh reportedly told TMZ that he was innocent of the charge and the "truth will prevail."
