Free Coronavirus Testing Set For Veterans Park This Week
Medical staff with Georgia Highlands Medical will be conducting the testing and following up with citizens to provide their results.
CANTON, GA — Georgia Highlands Medical Services, in partnership with Cherokee County, will offer free COVID-19 testing this week in Canton.
The testing will be available at Veterans Park, 7345 Cumming Highway, from 8 a.m. to noon on Thursday and Friday. Medical staff with Georgia Highlands Medical, a nonprofit organization, will be conducting the testing and following up with citizens to provide their results. Appointments are required.
Cherokee’s Office of Emergency Management also will be assisting, and electronic signs will direct citizens to the proper location in the park.

To schedule an appointment, call 470-758-8415. Medical staff ask patients to be patient as phone lines may get congested at times.
