This fourth round of open houses will feature two dates: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 6 at Otwell Middle School at 605 Tribble Gap Road in Cumming and Dec. 15 at Calvary Baptist Church at 137 Hightower Road in Ball Ground.

There will be no formal presentation, and displays at both meetings will be the same.

Georgia DOT has been eyeing ways to improve the major thoroughfare from Interstate 575 in Canton to North Corners Parkway in Cumming.

"Through our initial public involvement efforts, the overwhelming desire to keep the project located along existing S.R. 20 was heard loud and clear," GDOT said. "We're hosting a fourth round of open house sessions to present a concept alternative for widening along existing S.R. 20."
