Good Neighbors HelpTM sponsored, by the Jan Rooney Agency, Partners With Cherokee Impact To Raise Awareness and Funds

Cherokee Impact hosted Showcase Atlanta in a two day event on January 17th and 18th. The even provides young soccer players with an opportunity to show off their skills in front of coaches invited from 80 colleges including many Division I Institutions. As part of the fund raising efforts to support Cherokee Impact, Shane Moore, Executive Director at Cherokee Impact invited Good Neighbors HelpTM, sponsored by the Jan Rooney Agency, to attend the event and tell people about the program.

The Good Neighbors HelpTM program was created by the Jan Rooney Agency as a way of keeping the agency’s marketing dollars in the community. The program makes contributions to the partner organization for each supporter that requests and reviews an insurance quote. “Agents typically spend large amounts of money purchasing insurance leads from outside vendors. These dollars leave Georgia and the ‘leads’ are often for people very far outside my agency’s local community, “ Jan stated. “I wanted to reach more people in my neighborhood that need my services, and keep those budget dollars right here working for our community.”

It is expected that the partnership with Cherokee Impact will continue through-out the year to assist Cherokee Impact in its mission to promote youth soccer in Cherokee County and provide programs like Showcase Atlanta. Good Neighbors HelpTM is sponsored by the Jan Rooney Agency as part of its effort to be a good neighbor, and give back to the local community in which the agency thrives; our mission is to partner with local non-profit organizations, community organizations and youth organizations to help them meet their fund raising goals and requirements.
