Canton, GA -- If you need to make a run to the grocery store, but don’t want to abandon those comfortable sweats or pajamas, a new service is now available to do your shopping for you.

Shipt is now up and running in Canton. The service, which is available at your fingertips at the Apple or Google Play app stores, allows residents to order groceries.

A trained shopper will make the run to Publix and will deliver the groceries at the time the customer designates.

In the Canton and Holly Springs areas, Publix stores at 120 Prominence Point Parkway, 6236 East Cherokee Drive and 6175 Hickory Flat Highway are also signed up for the service.

In Woodstock, the service is only available at Publix at 12165 Highway 92 at Trickum Road.

Once signed up, residents are given a choice of a monthly plan at $14.99 or an annual plan at $99. Both plans offer free, unlimited grocery delivery on orders over $35, the ability to shop, pay and schedule deliveries on the mobile app, access to all grocery items and same day delivery that can be as fast as one hour.
