Halloween Blowout Set For Saturday At Canton Farmers Market

The final market for the 2017 season will feature a costume contest and trick-or-treating activities for children.

CANTON, GA -- The final installment of the 2017 Canton Farmers Market season is sure to be a treat for the little ones. Organizers are planning a Halloween Blowout for those who want to bypass the traditional method of trick or treating.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, there will be animals from Canton-based Barnyard Friends, scarecrows, trick-or-treating in the market area and around downtown and a costume contest for the children.

All of these festivities will be held at Cannon Park. It will also allow residents to thank the vendors who've brought their eggs, vegetables, fruits, breads, meat, seafood, pastries and handmade goodies for patrons to savor.
