S.R. 20, also known as Cumming Highway in eastern Cherokee County, has exceeded its capacity and multiple improvements are needed to improve mobility and enhance safety from Interstate 575 in Cherokee County to GA-400 in Forsyth County.
GDOT will present a concept alternative to widen the highway along its existing route. A series of public meetings have been held, but additional input is still being sought in this public information open house. A court reporter will be available during the open houses to record formal comments.
