Historian To Present On Depression-Era Conservationists

From Rock Barn: Join us for an engaging presentation from local historian and Reinhardt University professor, Dr. Donna Coffey Little, on this little known aspect of Cherokee County history. Dr. Little will be speaking on the history of the camp and the men who worked on Pine Log Mountain helping to preserve the landscape of the area during the Great Depression. Dr. Little says, "I hope to bring recognition to the young CCC men who helped to preserve Pine Log Mountain for future generations and to remind us of the rich history of the mountain."
