Holiday Art and Wine Walk Comes To Downtown Canton
The two-day event will be held Dec. 11-12 in various locations in the central business district.

Residents are invited to sip on the best wines and explore the talent of area artists as part of the upcoming Canton Holiday Art and Wine Walk.

The event, organized by the Canton Main Street Program, will be held 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11 and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12. Tickets are $25, and can be purchased in advance online or at any of the following locations:
- Canton City Hall, 151 East Main Street
- Chamberhouse, 145 West Main Street
- B.loved, 191 East Main Street
- Stout’s Growlers, 188 North Street
- Cherokee County History Museum, 100 North Street
- Cherokee Arts Center, 94 North Street
- Canton Theatre, 171 East Main Street,
- Practically Perfect Day Spa, 577 East Main Street
- Bank of Canton
Weather permitting, wirstband and ticket sales will also take place at the gazebo in Cannon Park. In the case of inclement weather, those sales will take place at the Jones Building.

A ticket gets you an over 21 wrist band, complimentary tasting glass, 20 tasting tickets, a map of participating downtown businesses and artists, shopping bag and a Christmas ornament.
For those who attend Friday and return Saturday, they can bring their tasting glass with them and purchase drink tickets for $1 each.
Each stop will feature one or more local artists and a choice of two wines available for tasting.
A limited number of tickets (500) will be sold for the wine tasting event. A ticket is not required to visit the downtown shops and restaurants, but a ticket will be required to participate in wine tasting. Ticket holders must be at least 21 years of age.
Artists that have confirmed their participation include: Gary Curtis (watercolors), Dana Vaccaro-Lee (oils, acrylic, mixed media), Christy O’Conner (Cobb Girl Creations - jewelry), Nancy VanSant (glass), Allen Quandee (turned wood and jewelry boxes), Doris Babcock (basketry), Elly Hobgood (watercolor), Sheryl Holstein (decorative and functional pottery), Sue Burkart Chisholm (clay - nativity and angels), Fred and Laura Ellis (Something Southern Pottery), Julie Rogers (oils & acrylics), Phoebe Maze (clay), Creighton Cutts (BeeNatural candles), Jacqueline and Shirley Mogan (knitted scarves/shawls), Janet Smith (mixed media), Triny Cline and Mike Sherrer, Jason Howard (horseshoe art), Linda Maphet (drawings, oils, acrylics), Marsha Cornelius (author), Sue Holtzclaw – (Christmas keepsakes) and Gayle Johnson (oils).
