The city will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, Nov. 20 for J.B. Owens Park. The event will be held at 10 a.m. at the park, which is located at 2699 Hickory Road in Holly Springs.
J.B. Owens Park is about 33 acres in size and includes hard and soft surface walking trails with two pedestrian bridges over the creeks in the back of the property, two pavilions, a play field, a playground and restroom facility.

The project was constructed out of an allocation of Cherokee County parks bond funding of $1.5 million, City Manager Rob Logan said.
