Holly Springs Receives Financial Reporting Award

The city was recognized by the Government Finance Officers Association for its 2017 comprehensive annual financial report.

From The City of Holly Springs: The City of Holly Springs has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its 2017 comprehensive annual financial report. City Manager/Finance Director Robert H. Logan was presented with the award.

The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management. From GFOA, “The CAFR has been judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program which includes demonstrating a constructive ‘spirit of full disclosure’ to clearly communicate its financial story and motivate potential users or user groups to read the CAFR.”

The City’s CAFR is available for viewing at www.hollyspringsga.us/fy17audi... . The City also received this award for their 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 comprehensive annual financial reports.
