CANTON, GA — A Cherokee County School District student is advancing to the state school nutrition art contest.

Holly Springs Elementary School STEM Academy fifth-grader Cameron Womack has won the Cherokee County and District 7 levels of competition in the Georgia School Nutrition Association’s annual art contest and now advances to the state-level competition.

The theme of this year's art contest is “School Nutrition Legacy." The local level of the competition was sponsored by the Cherokee County NAC (Nutrition Advisory Council).
