ICYMI: Cherokee County Fair Starts Tuesday

The fall season in Canton will kick off this week with the arrival of the 89th annual Cherokee County Fair.

The festivities will start this week, bringing all of your favorites shows, treats and sweets to Canton.

This year’s fair will be held Sept. 22-27 at Harmon Field Park in Canton.

Gates for the fair will open at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22; 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23; 5 p.m. Thursday Sept. 24 and Friday, Sept. 25 and 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 and Sunday, Sept. 27.

Admission into this year’s fair is free for children 5 and under as well as for residents age 65 and older; $2 for children 6-12; and $4 for children and adults age 13 to 64.

Harmon Field is located at 160 McClure Street.
