John David West, 72, of Canton passed away on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at Northside Hospital-Cherokee.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Michael Byess officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery.

The family received friends on Sunday and will continue today between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to the funeral hour on Tuesday at South Canton Funeral Home.
Survivors include: wife Irene West of Canton; son David West ofAnnapolis, Maryland; daughter Mary Beth (Mark) of Shaddock, St. Petersburg, Florida; daughter Jimmia (Mike) Johnson of Canton; daughter Colleen West of Canton; brother James (Gloria) West of Minot, North Dakota; brother Joe (JoAnn) West of Lithia Springs; brother Danny West of Walnut Grove; grandchildren T.J. Hudson, Brandon Johnson, Richard Garris ad Abigail Garris; and several nieces and nephews.
