Kindergarten, First-Grade Student Registration Set For April 28-29

CANTON, GA -- The Cherokee County School District will soon hold registration for the 2016-17 school year for kindergarten and first-grade students entering school for the first time.

Registration will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 28 and 9 a.m. to noon Friday, April 29 at all district elementary schools.
Students who will be five years old on or before Sept. 1 are eligible to enter kindergarten while students who will be six years old on or before that date can enroll into first grade.
