Longtime Cherokee County School Principals To Retire
The Cherokee County School District will host receptions for Dr. Keith Ingram, Dr. Deborah Wiseman and Cindy Cooper.

CANTON, GA -- Next week, the Cherokee County School District will honor three principals who will retire at the end of the 2016-17 school year.
Ball Ground Elementary School STEM Academy Dr. Keith Ingram, Creekland Middle School Principal Dr. Deborah Wiseman and Dean Rusk Middle School Principal Cindy Cooper all are retiring at the end of this school year after long and successful careers in education.
These leaders were recognized by the Cherokee County School Board, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian Hightower, senior staff and their fellow administrators during a recent lunch at which they received plaques of appreciation.

Each school will host a retirement reception that is open to the community:
- Cooper: 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, May 15, at Dean Rusk Middle School
- Dr. Wiseman: 3:45 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, at Creekland Middle School
- Dr. Ingram: 3:30 to 5 p.m. Friday, May 19, at Ball Ground Elementary School STEM Academy
