Lost Runner Found Along Wooded Trail In Canton
Brendan Dowling called police on Sunday to report he was lost on a walking trail behind Boling Park.

CANTON, GA — A 41-year-old Kennesaw man who called 9-1-1 to report he was lost on walking trails behind Boling Park near Cherokee High School has been found, the Canton Police Department said.
The agency said Brendan Dowling was located on a wooded trail area around 4 a.m. Monday and is being evaluated by search and rescue personnel.
Dowling, who police said "loves to run at parks," called emergency dispatchers on Sunday to say he was lost on Rampley Trail and his cell phone battery was dying, according to the police department's Facebook page.

Canton police and members of the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office, Cherokee Fire and and Emergency Services and Cherokee County Search and Rescue Team spent Sunday evening and early Monday searching for the Kennesaw resident.
