Man Dies After Bar Fight At Canton Ice House: Police
Police say a man died Friday night after he was involved in a bar fight at Canton Ice House that turned deadly.
CANTON, GA — A 45-year-old man from Houschton has died, police say after he was involved in a bar fight that became fatal.
The Canton Police Department responded to Canton Ice House, 150 Keith Drive on Friday, June 28 at 10:19 p.m. in reference to an altercation which had occurred inside the business, the department said.
Leon Danzis, 45, of Houschton, was transported to Northside Cherokee Hospital and was later pronounced deceased, police say.

WSB-TV reported that Danzis was sitting at the bar when a stranger with a pool cue started to attack Danzis and his friend, who spoke to the TV station but asked to remain anonymous. The witness said the attacker hit Danzis in the head with the pool stick, which he claims was a "completely random act of violence."
The witness was treated in the emergency room for a concussion and broken ribs, WSB-TV said.

The Canton Police Department is actively investigating this incident, and ask anyone with information to contact the department at 770-720-4883. Multiple other people were hurt in the chaos that ensued, the witness told the station.
Canton police told WSB-TV they are waiting on autopsy results to determine exactly how Danzis died, and they are still interviewing witnesses.
