Man Dies in One Vehicle Crash on Bluffs Parkway
The accident occurred just south of the Cherokee County Administrative Offices in Canton.
The Canton Police Department is investigating a single vehicle crash that took the life of the driver late Wednesday afternoon.
Officers with the agency responded to the crash around 3:50 p.m. along Bluffs Parkway just south of the entrance to the Cherokee County Administration Building.
Emergency responders and officers arrived onto the scene and found an overturned white Ford Explorer in the roadway, Canton police said in a press release.

It appears the SUV left the roadway and overturned, ejecting the driver at the scene, spokesperson Lt. Jeff Tucker stated. The man was found unresponsive near the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s identity has not been released and Canton police’s Traffic Unit is investigating the accident.
