According to the Blue Ridge Judicial District Attorney's office, a man admitted to molesting an 11-year-old and was sentenced to prison.
CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA — A 23-year-old man was sentenced to 12 years in prison without the possibility of parole and life on probation after the Blue Ridge Judicial District Attorney's office said he admitted to molesting an 11-year-old girl.
Lomack Deamonte Pridgen agreed June 27 to a guilty plea to aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery and child molestation, District Attorney Shannon Wallace said in a news release.
Pridgen was arrested in September 2021 in Cherokee County for sexual abuse of a child under the age of 16 after authorities said the girl informed her parent of the abuse.

Pridgen cannot contact the girl or her family members and must adhere to sex offender special conditions, according to the district attorney's office.
“This sexual predator took advantage of an innocent little girl, subjecting her to his sick perversions when no one was around to stop him," Wallace said in the release.
