Meet The Candidate Forum Set For Tuesday
The Cherokee Chamber of Commerce and the Cherokee Farm Bureau will host the event May 3 at Cagle's Family Farm in Hickory Flat.

HICKORY FLAT, GA -- Voters will soon have another chance to learn more about candidates running for local, state and national office.

The Meet The Candidate Forum, hosted by the Cherokee County Farm Bureau and Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce, will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 3 at Cagle's Family Farm in Hickory Flat.
All local, state and national candidates running for office in 2016 are invited to attend and each contender will have two minutes to speak if they have opposition. Candidates with no opposition, as well as current elected officials, will be introduced.

Questions from the audience will follow, and attendees will have time to meet and greet the candidates before and after the event.
Homemade ice cream will be served by Boy Scout Troop #465, and soft drinks, water and peanuts will be provided by the Farm Bureau.
The forum will take place under the wooden pavilion at the farm, which is located at 362 Stringer Road in Canton.
