Meet Primrose School's Family of the Month

Jason and Sarah are the proud parents of April, a student in the Infant classroom. They also have family pets – Henri the Dog and cats, Cat and Jack. As a family, they love spending time together and visiting with extended family. April enjoyed a recent vacation to St. Augustine where she loved swinging on the porch swing watching the waves on the beach. She thought that touching the sand with her fingers was pretty cool too, but, she wasn’t interested in the water. It was too cold!

Some favorite family time memories include working in the yard while April hangs out on the blankets outside. She likes to crawl after the pets, look at books and pull up on everything! On Saturday mornings, she watches Elmo on Youtube with Daddy. Someday, they hope to do lots of arts and crafts with her, but, right now they settle for making baby food such as chicken with vegetables and fish with veggies and cheese sauce. Sarah chops and cooks and April does the taste tests. So far, she likes everything but quinoa.

A fun fact about the Priest family is that April was born on mom and dad’s second wedding anniversary. This special day is also the birthday of Sarah’s sister and grandfather. A fun triple birthday and anniversary celebration for years to come!

The Priest family shares their Primrose experience:

When the Priest family was asked to share their Primrose experience, they replied, “Primrose certainly has kept us busy! There are always activities going on at the school to keep the families involved. Even with April being an infant, her classroom teachers do a great job of making sure she can participate in all of the fun. Since April is our first baby we were worried about taking her to child care during the day, but, it’s been really great. We have felt comfort in knowing the staff really cares for the babies. We lucked out when we go Ms. Leann. She is amazing with the infant classroom and April loves her!
