Emily Rose Lamanac, age 14, of Ball Ground, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite. Emily was a member of the Teasley Middle School chorus and also played softball with the North Cherokee Youth Softball association.

Funeral services are scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Dr. Ben Lester and Dr. Jennifer Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow at New Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Woodstock.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2016, and from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the South Canton Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents: J. W. and Terri Lamanac. Survivors include parents, Charlene and Shayne Lamanac of Ball Ground; Grandfather, Charles "Bobo" Dobbs of Woodstock; grandmother Gail Dobbs of Canton; grandfather, James Archer of Canton; sister, Abigal Lamanac and fiance, Matthew Hitt; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
