In Memory: Ray Sweat, 28, Loved Working, Gaming On Computer

Ray Sweat, 28, of Canton, passed away on Monday, Jan. 25, 2016 at Northside Hospital-Cherokee. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Ray was cremated per his wishes.

Ray graduated with honors from Cherokee High School Class of 2006. He loved working and gaming on his computer. He enjoyed talking with people from around the world and flying radio controlled planes. Ray touched many lives and was an inspiration to all.

Survivors include his grandparents, Earlene and J.D. Sweat; father, Billy Sweat; mother, Malinda Ruiz; siblings, Rio Sweat, Emily Ruiz and Sebastian Ruiz; uncles, David Sweat, Kenneth Sweat, Doyle Payne and Dewayne Payne; many other loving family members and friends also survive.
