Susan Ilene Cappolla, 65 of Canton, passed away Saturday Aug.16, 2014, at Northside Hospital-Cherokee.
Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Tuesday Aug. 19 at the Darby Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Ron Anspaugh officiating.

Interment followed at Macedonia Memorial Park.
The family received friends on Sunday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Monday 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Survivors include daughter & son-in-law, Kate & Matt Cates, Canton; sons & daughters-in-law, Jamie & Donna Gianfala, Canton; Mike & Amy Gianfala, Canton; brother, Frank Cappolla, West Hempstead, NY; sister, Judy Boyden, PA; 6 grandchildren also survive.
Ms. Cappolla retired from Cherokee County 911 after more than 15 years. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
