Mother, Son Dance To Benefit Georgia Academy Baseball Club

Georgia Academy Baseball Club is hosting a mother, son dance on Friday, benefitting the organization.

CANTON, GA —Georgia Academy Baseball Club is hosting a night to remember for mothers and sons in February. The inaugural Take Me Out to the Ball community event will raise funds for the organization’s Cooperstown-bound 12U team.

Take Me Out to the Ball is open to anyone in the community and includes a night of dancing, a DJ, heavy hors d’oeuvres, refreshments, dessert, photos and prizes.

“Every February, there are many father-daughter dinners and events. We wanted to offer an opportunity for sons and mothers in the community,” said Yvonne Curtis, team visibility chair for Georgia Academy Baseball Club. “Boys can bring their mothers, grandmothers, aunts or another special female guest. We ask for attendees to dress to impress and come ready to eat, dance, laugh and have fun.”
