No Injuries In Holly Street House Fire: Officials

The cause of the Holly Street house fire is still being investigated.

CANTON, GA — There were no injuries in a Thursday night fire at a Holly Street home in Canton, officials with the Cherokee County Fire and Emergencies said.

The fire broke out around 10:30 p.m. The cause is being investigated.

According to the department, fire crews found smoke and flames coming out of the garage when they arrived. Two people were home at the time, but the fire department confirmed they were safe.

First-responders shut down the area to traffic for about an hour.
