Northside Cherokee Offers Free Stroke Screening In Canton

CANTON-SIXES, GA - From Northside Hospital Cherokee: Whether you’re a man or woman, no matter your race, in the prime of life or enjoying your golden years, you may be at risk for a stroke. The best protection you can take is to know your personal risk. Northside Hospital’s Stroke Center is offering free screenings to determine risk for stroke. On November 30, a free stroke screening is being offered in Canton.

The comprehensive screenings will be administered by health care professionals and will include a risk assessment, blood pressure reading, total cholesterol (HDL, ratio of TC/HDL), glucose, a limited number of carotid ultrasounds and a one-on-one consultation with a healthcare professional.

The free screenings will take place:

• From 9 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, November 30
• Northside Hospital Cherokee
• 450 Northside Cherokee Blvd, Canton, GA 30115
