Northside Hospital Expands, Relocates Spine Center

Northside Hospital has expanded and relocated its Spine & Pain Center in Cherokee County to the Oakside Professional Center, which is near the Northside Hospital-Cherokee campus in Canton, the company said in a press release.

The Spine Center makes evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of back, neck and spine pain as easy as possible, offering self-referral and appointments, within one to two days. Patients benefit from a conservative, coordinated and personalized approach, combining the expertise of specialists in pain treatment, orthopedics, neurosurgery, radiology and physical therapy, who provide superlative treatment and follow-up care.

“Our focus is on patients with new onset of symptoms or an ongoing untreated problem,” said John J. Moss, M.D., medical director, Northside Hospital Spine Center. “Finding relief from back pain should not be difficult; whether you just require pain treatment or something more, we’ll get patients to the right provider.”

Approximately 80 percent of Americans will experience low back pain sometime in their lives – whether due to a new, isolated injury or a persistent problem.
