Northside Hospital Relocates, Expands Riverstone Imaging

Northside Hospital on Tuesday announced the relocation and expansion of Northside/Riverstone Imaging in Canton, now located at 720 Transit Avenue Building 200, Suite 201.

“Our new location allows us to keep up with the healthcare needs of the growing Cherokee County community,” said Lee Feldpausch, director of radiology services for Northside/Riverstone Imaging. “We continue to upgrade and add new imaging services to the Northside Hospital system in order to improve patient care and make our services more convenient for patients.”

Northside/Riverstone Imaging offers digital screening mammography, ultrasound, bone density testing, multi-slice CT and digital X-ray services. Relocating allowed the imaging center to install the latest bone density and digital X-ray technology. In addition, MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) services were added for brain, spine and orthopedic exams.

Northside Hospital annually performs more than 550,000 imaging exams and is highly respected by the medical community for its state-of-the-art imaging technology. Northside ranked No. 1 in imaging services with metro Atlanta consumers in the National Research Corporation’s Healthcare Market Guide.

All images are read and interpreted by board-certified radiologists, who, alongside Northside’s staff of registered technologists, provide the highest level of customer service. Through the hospital’s Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (PACS), radiologists and physicians can view images from any location, in order to consult on a case, resulting in faster diagnosis and treatment.
