Open House For New Northside Cherokee Set For April 22

CANTON, GA -- The community is invited to come out and tour the new Northside Hospital Cherokee facility next month ahead of its May 6 opening.

Tours for the long-awaited replacement hospital will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the new building at 450 Northside Cherokee Boulevard in Canton.

Visitors will be allowed to go into areas of the new hospital, some of which will not be open to the public again. Tours will be led by Northside staff and include visits to the Emergency Department, Women’s Center, cafeteria and Intensive Care Unit.

Along with the tours, the event will feature information about hospital physicians and services, entertainment from local schools and activities for kids.

The recently completed Northside Hospital Cherokee is scheduled to open for patients on May 6. Staff is currently training in the facility, while overseeing final touches and the installations of equipment and furniture.

After the open house, the new hospital will be sealed to visitors and cleaned in preparation for the May 6 opening.
