Once deputies arrived on the scene, they found the man, later identified as 54-year-old Ralph Gambrel of Ball Ground, lying in the yard outside the home.
Gambrel owned and operated Game Over Pest Solutions, and the company was working at the the home at the time of the incident.
According to the business’s website, the company has 30 years of experience in the pest control industry.
The sheriff’s office said it appears Gambrel fell from the roof of the home. While the incident remains under investigation, no foul play is suspected, the agency said.
A GoFundMe page has been created to help the Gambrel family, which is made up of wife Alana Gambrel and children, Tara and Cody. Money raised during the camapign will help pay for funeral expenses and also ongoing needs until the family is “back on their financial and emotional feet,” organizers said.
“His red ‘Game Over’ signs and big red truck with his company logo assured us he was only a phone call away to help us out,” the fundraising page states. “It’s now our turn to help Ralph and his family out. Ralph was the sole provider for his family which he leaves behind. His wife will now have the financial responsibility of taking care of his final arrangements, the care of their two children Tara and Cody and all ongoing expenses.”
