Photo Contest Seeks To Capture, Color Flavor Of Ball Ground

BALL GROUND, GA -- The Ball Ground Historical Society’s theme for its 2018 calendar will be "Ball Ground through the Seasons," and the organization is seeking photo submissions that will capture the flavor and color of the area.

Some suggested photos might be snowy days, spring flowers, flooding or natural events, school or civic snapshots from festivals, holidays, carnivals, events on the square, streetscapes, animals and nature, wild or pet "residents," local venues, weddings, revivals and baptisms.

Of the photos submitted for consideration, selection will be based on quality, originality, appeal and "authentic capture of the feel of the place we know as Ball Ground," the organization said (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts.
