Police Investigate Burglary At Canton Jewelry Store

CANTON, GA — Police are investigating a burglary at a Cumming Highway jewelry store during which the accused robbers cut a hole in the roof of the business, Canton Police said Monday.

Officers were initially called to the store around 11:30 p.m., Jan. 4, when they said the business looked secured. Officers returned to the store around 10:45 a.m. the next day, when they discovered an unknown amount of merchandise had been taken from the business, police said.

Detectives with the Canton Police Department are working with metro Atlanta agencies in the case, police said.
