Police Seek Church Vandals Who Left Racial Slurs
Cherokee Sheriff's deputies are seeking information about vandalism at Faith Family Church, including drawings with racial slurs.
ACWORTH, GA — The Cherokee Sheriff's Office is looking for information regarding a vandalism at a local church that included drawings with racial slurs, swastikas, and a possible gang reference.
Cherokee Sheriff's deputies responded to a vandalism call Monday morning at Faith Family Church, 5744 Bells Ferry Road in Acworth, according to Cherokee Sheriff's Office Director of Communications Jay Baker.
Baker said someone broke into the church overnight and stole an undisclosed amount of money and damaged several areas of the property. The suspects also broke several windows, spray-painted "disturbing images" in numerous areas of the church, turned over furniture and broke light fixtures, Baker said.

Detectives are following up on a few leads, but Baker said the suspects are unknown at this time.
If anyone has any information about who was involved in the damage, they are asked to call 911 or detectives at 770-928-0239.
