Prostate Cancer Screening Set For March 9
The screening will be held at Medical Associates of North Georgia's offices in Canton.

CANTON, GA -- Northside Hospital’s Cancer Institute will offer a community screening to determine men’s risk for developing prostate cancer.
Aside from skin cancer, prostate cancer remains the most frequently diagnosed cancer in men.
The upcoming screening will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 9 at Medical Associates of North Georgia's offices at 320 Hospital Road in Canton. Free parking will be available.

Those who will be eligible for the screening include:
- Men ages 45-75
- Have never been diagnosed with prostate cancer
- Have not had a prostate exam within the past year
The screening is administered by health care professionals and will include a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood test. A nurse navigator will be available to help arrange follow up care, if indicated. Spanish interpreters will also be available free of charge during the screening.
