Reinhardt University Winds Concert Set For April 19

The winds of Reinhardt University have a concert scheduled for April 19th at Falany Performing Arts Center.

CANTON-SIXES, GA - From Reinhardt University: Are you awake? That’s the musical question the Reinhardt University Winds will pose during their April 19 performance in Flint Hall at the Falany Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m.

Under the direction of Dr. Daniel Kirk, the 50-member wind ensemble will perform inspirational selections including Curiale’s Joy, LaBarr’s Grace Before Sleep and Hanson’s Chorale and Alleluia.

The University Winds will be joined by several Reinhardt alumni and faculty members for a special performance of Grant’s Panoramic Landscapes, Maslanka’s Give Us This Day and Bernstein’s Make Our Garden Grow.

“The audience will come away inspired as we musically explore questions that awaken us,” Kirk said. “Are you awake to the joy inside us all, to grace and mercy, and rejoicing in praise?”
