- "In the Rest Room at Rosenbloom's" opened at the Canton Theatre yesterday and will run from Jun. 10-12 and Jun. 17-19. Tonight, Jun. 11, the play, based on the book by Ludmilla Bollow and presented by Cherokee Theatre Company, will begin at 8 p.m. Get your tickets at the link. (Cherokee Theatre)

- The Georgia Department of Transportation is asking for Cherokee County residents' opinions on the Highway 20 widening project. Comments will be open for the project until Jul. 6. - Two men have been sentenced to 25 years in Cherokee County for the armed robbery and theft at a Circle K convenience store that took place in January 2020. Brandon Devontae Kemp, 29, of Smyrna, and Kerrick McCaslin, 24, of Atlanta, were sentenced to prison for armed robbery, among other charges. According to court documents, Kemp and McCaslin stole a purse from a woman's vehicle after brandishing a weapon at her, then fled on foot. (WSB TV)
