The Cherokee County Environmental Health Department conducted food service inspections June 13-20 at the following establishments:

• Lettuce and guacamole in glass door unit at 56-57F. Items were discarded on request. Do not store foods in this unit until it is working properly.
• Observed 2 boxes of butter in walk-in with use-by dates of 6/8/18. Boxes were pulled for discard on request. Do not store or serve Time/Temp Control for Safety foods past their expiration dates.
• Walk-in cooler ambient temp at 50F; walk-in freezer temp at 30F. Items in cooler still at proper temp and items in freezer still frozen. Technician on-site believes units may not be working properly. These units must be capable of maintaining refrigerated food at 41F and frozen foods must remain frozen.
• Thermometer missing in glass door unit and not working in McCafe unit. Ensure there are working thermometers in all coolers.
• Inspection report and food service permit not posted. These must be posted in dining area and a copy of inspection report must also be posted in drive-thru.
• Vegetable sink does not have required air gap. This must be corrected.
• Hand sink near produce sink does not have cold water. This must be corrected. Water becomes uncomfortably hot at this sink, which interferes with proper handwashing.
• Interior of cabinet/floor under self-service drink station has a black film from spills/leaks that have not been cleaned. Flies are covering the interior of the cabinet. This must be cleaned. Other areas of the store are also in need of better cleaning. Rooftop equipment (AC unit) leaking and dripping near 3-comp sink enough to fill 5 gallon buckets. This must be repaired.
• Heavy fly presence in kitchen area. Drive-thru main window being held open to help with air flow due to problems with AC. Back drive thru window standing open and no longer works. These issues must be corrected.
• No follow-up inspection was scheduled, according to the form.
